A projected eight million barrels of liquid natural gas and oil were added from tight plays in North America between years 2010 and 2020. In general, the consensus from different groups is that oil prices will gradually decline due to domestic shale mining, and more information from ongoing research and development initiatives will simultaneously mitigate concerns about safety and environmental impact.
