A group of companies has retained Core Energy Advisors LLC to sell more than 67,000 net acres of largely contiguous leasehold in the Arkoma Woodford Basin located in McIntosh, Muskogee, Pittsburg, Haskell and Okmulgee counties, Okla. The acreage is highly prospective for Woodford and Caney shale development across the position and represents a unique opportunity to acquire a large, mostly contiguous foothold in the Arkoma Basin with a strategic development plan in place. The sellers control 111,485 gross (67,217 net) acres, of which 47% is HBP.
